Trying to update this space more frequently, since it is neglected and at night when I am trying to fall asleep, I can hear it whimper.

5.16.11
Been painting here and there, and posting some new items on my Etsy site. Hoping to generate some new custom work, because I am in a funk of inspiration. I need things spelled out for me, because I am both dim and tired. I guess I'm not really in a funk at all. I'm painting, right?!?! I just feel like I am pulling every painting out of me with pair of tweezers, which is tedious and painful.
Here are some things I did yesterday.

Yesterday, I also made some sculpty sculptures with my daughter. A one inch sushi, a little calavera and a mizuko jizo. We baked them and eh, voila, instant window sill additions.

Finally, I just had to put a brush in my hand so my ass and head would follow. I started on Tuesday evening when my husband came home from work, and began painting and it flowed, and I wanted to paint more. I painted until 1a, then woke up and began painting again until I had to leave the house, then came home and finished the paintings I had sitting there. In total, from Tuesday until this morning, I painted eight illustrations. Some were watercolors I had to do over again until they were what I wanted, but here is a sampling:
